I know, it's the start of July, and we are already planning what we will grow for fall. It sounds crazy, but as of today, we only have around 100 days left in our growing season. When you consider how long it takes to grow some fall crops, and with days beginning to get shorter, the end of the growing season feels like an hourglass quickly running out of sand. To make the most of my garden plan, I make a spreadsheet and write what is going where. That way I can remember what is what.
Carrot | Radish | Green Onion | Parsley | Cilantro | Green Onion | Green Bean | Chives |

This is a plan I made today for one of my raised beds. Some are a little bit of an experiment. (I know, I know, carrots and radish bolt in the heat,) but I think we can get away with it since it takes them a while to mature. We hopefully will be out of the heat by the time we harvest!

I also have planned to start some broccoli and cabbage in my growing set up in my basement. When it cools off, I will transplant it out to the garden! I am so excited for these little seeds to sprout and to get our fall crop going! Let me know if you're growing anything in your area and what you're trying out!
